Boosting Confidence in Neurodivergent Kids With Physiotherapy

💪
Did You Know? Nearly 1 in 6 U.S. children has a developmental disability. Early, consistent therapy helps countless kids thrive. (CDC, 2023)

Physiotherapy isn’t just a checkbox on an EHCP or IEP; it’s a vital path to independence, dignity, and self-confidence for kids with disabilities or developmental delays.

For neurodivergent children, mastering basic motor skills is crucial in helping them feel capable and comfortable in their own skin. But if these challenges go unaddressed, they can have a profound impact on your child’s emotional, physical, and mental well-being.

As a dad to a neurodivergent son, I see firsthand how movement, especially his stimming, helps him regulate, and as his father, my instinct is to support him. So, naturally, I want to help him move better so he can truly thrive.

That’s what drew me to Pinpoint Fitness in Dubai. They offer inclusive fitness and parkour obstacle courses specially designed for neurodiverse kids, with programs tailored to each child’s unique needs.

They’re doing incredible work. Watching kids take their first independent leap and nail new skills is heartwarming and inspiring. It’s a true testament to the trust and connection that children and their therapists share.

The Co.’s Take: Therapy often gets overshadowed by assessments, but it’s where the real, life-changing progress happens. Finding the right therapist can take time, so families need to push hard to secure consistent, quality OT, PT, and SALT.

Climate Reality Project: Fighting for a Sustainable Future

💡
Did You Know? The last decade was the hottest on record globally, with climate change accelerating faster than expected. (NASA, 2023)

The Climate Reality Project is a global nonprofit organization founded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore to combat the climate crisis with urgency and action.

The Climate Reality Project
Get the tools, training, and network to fight climate change and together build the world we want.

Through virtual events, local gatherings, and global summits, they build networks that connect activists from city streets to international climate negotiations.

“There is no Planet B.”

The core of their work is empowering climate reality leaders worldwide through intensive training and mentorship. These activists then advocate for the adoption of renewable energy in their own communities, ultimately driving policy change at a grassroots level.

Beyond training, the Climate Reality Project runs high-impact campaigns focusing on accelerating the transition to renewable energy, advancing climate justice, and holding policymakers accountable for meaningful action.

Its educational resources blend compelling personal stories and proven science, helping people understand the urgency of the climate crisis while inspiring them to take action.

From influencing landmark agreements, such as the Paris Climate Accord, to fostering local clean energy solutions, the mission of the Climate Reality Project is to create a sustainable future where people and the planet flourish.

☝️
The Co.’s Take: Climate change is an urgent crisis that disproportionately impacts vulnerable communities. Supporting groups like the Climate Reality Project amplifies the voices pushing for meaningful change on a global scale

Reproductive Rights & Justice: Fighting for Bodily Autonomy

👀
Eye-Opening Stat: In 2022, nearly 50 million abortions took place worldwide, but more than 225 million women still lack access to modern contraceptives. (Guttmacher Institute, 2023)

Reproductive rights remain one of the most fiercely contested battles for women's rights and gender equality. Access to contraception, abortion care, and comprehensive reproductive health services isn’t just about women’s health; it’s about autonomy, freedom, and dignity.

Around the world, millions of women face barriers that keep them from making decisions about their own bodies.

Whether it’s restrictive laws, lack of healthcare providers, stigma from government, family, or community—these consequences ripple through education, economic opportunity, mental health, and ultimately, survival.

“Without a woman’s right to control her own body, everything is at risk.”
☝️
The Co.’s Take: Reproductive justice demands more than securing legal rights. It requires dismantling systemic barriers from poverty to racism to political misinformation. We must ensure that every woman can make informed decisions with access to supportive healthcare and a strong community.

Action Steps: Make It Personal. Make It Policy.

🗣️ Raise your voice. Find and contact your elected representatives. Keep them on speed dial and ask what policies they support for women’s reproductive rights. Urge them to prioritize resources and protections for women.
